Some key observations have been reported recent years. 1) An abnormally strong radial magnetic field near the GC is discovered in 2013 (Eatough et al., 2013). 2) Some radiation from the radio to the sub-mm wavelength band have been detected in the region 10-50Rg

简 介

彭秋和，南京大学天文系教授,博士生导师。1960年从南京大学天文系毕业后到北京大学地球物理系天体物理专业任教。1978年调到南京大学天文系任教至今。1984-1986年在荷兰格罗尼根大学卡普坦天文研究所作为访问学者工作。1988-1995年曾连续两届当选为中国天文学会理事。1979年-2011年连续八届当选为 <全国引力和相对论天体物理学会>理事。彭秋和教授的研究领域包括星系物理、核天体物理学、粒子天体物理和宇宙学等。近年来提出了星系中心大质量天体的磁单极子模型，受到国内外专家的广泛关注。
